Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health seeks a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients from admission through discharge and contribute to the treatment planning process at our Plano, TX on-site facility. You will help ensure safety, deliver patient interventions, and assist with daily activities and documentation.

Responsibilities include leading psychoeducational groups, assisting nursing staff, and maintaining confidentiality while providing high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver's License.
• Bachelor's or high school diploma preferred.
• Full-time employment status.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to DBH policies and procedures.
• Provides exemplary customer service to all patients.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and records.
• Facilitates and leads daily groups as directed by facility leadership.
• Assists Nursing staff with duties and monitors patient safety.
• Completes shift notes and documentation by end of shift.
• Provides transportation services including patient transport when pre-qualified.
• Supports patient during admission and discharge processes.
