Job summary

Center for Discovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients through the entire treatment experience, from admission through discharge. You will assist with safety, provide patient interventions, lead psychoeducational groups, and support treatment planning.

This on-call PRN, onsite in Chicago, IL, requires a valid state driver's license and one or more years of experience in mental health, substance use, or eating disorder settings. Compensation: $17–$23 hourly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• One or more years experience in mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all DBH policies and procedures.
• Provides patient supervision and safety.
• Leads psychoeducational groups.
• Assists in treatment plan implementation.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Provides transportation services when pre-qualified.
• Documents shift notes and group notes.

Education
