Qualifications

• Certification in Non-Aggressive Crisis Management; must be obtained while in orientation and maintained throughout employment.
• Current JPS recognized BLS certification and must be maintained throughout employment.
• BH Tech II: 2-4.99 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the delivery of direct patient care as assigned by the nurse, reporting and documenting results including vital signs and specimens.
• Engages patients in groups and reports participation and needs to the nurses and treatment team.
• Assists with admission, dismissal, and transfer of patients and secures valuables.
• Assists with activities of daily living and uses treatment plans to address needs.
• Maintains patient safety using non-aggressive management and environmental rounds.
