Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide compassionate, patient-focused care on the Adult B Unit. This role supports adults with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and suicidal behaviors under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, contributing to treatment plans, and ensuring safety through suicide precautions. A strong team environment and opportunities for professional growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a human services/medical field or related discipline.
• 1-3 years related experience.

Responsabilités

• Work with individual patients in 1-on-1 or group settings aligned with the treatment plan.
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide input on patient behaviors.
• Implement suicide precautions as needed.
• Assess changes in patient condition/behavior and notify RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and caregiving duties.
• Maintain accurate records in the patient’s EMR.
