Centerstone is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I in Trenton, MO. This role provides direct and supportive care to clients in residential and withdrawal settings, monitors health indicators, supports medication administration, and helps create a safe, therapeutic environment.

The position offers opportunities to assist with crises, supervise clients, and participate in structured activities while upholding confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment.
• Knowledge of confidentiality laws in behavioral health.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret safety and procedural documents.
• Basic math and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to navigate electronic medical records.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

• Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients.
• Monitor vital signs and elevate when necessary.
• Oversee and document medication administration.
• Monitor OTC medications and maintain inventory.
• Document blood glucose levels and maintain equipment.
• Conduct supervision checks per safety plans and procedures.
• Assist clients with personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing) when necessary.
