Job summary

Queen of Peace Center in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct, non-clinical support to inpatient and outpatient clients under supervision of Residential Manager.

The role promotes client health and well-being through crisis intervention, activity support, group facilitation, and daily client care; this is a part-time position starting at $18 per hour. Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or an Associate’s degree preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and Med-Level 1 Certification required.
• Missouri Class E driver’s license or comparable license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in meeting goals as developed by the treatment team.
• Provide continuous supervision of clients ensuring schedule adherence.
• Complete intake, orientation, explain rules, and encourage participation.
• Maintain confidentiality as dictated by HIPAA.
• Monitor client participation in activities and document concerns.
• Adhere to medication policies and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Complete daily progress notes and group logs per guidelines.
• Screen and monitor detoxification clients; perform safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and model professional behavior.
