Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Associate’s degree in human services or related field preferred
• CPR/First Aid and Med-Level 1 Certification
• Missouri Class E driver’s license or comparable license
• Preferred 2 years’ experience in residential behavioral health or substance-use setting
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in meeting goals as developed by the treatment team
• Provide supervision of clients ensuring compliance with scheduled services
• Complete intake and orientation and introduce clients to participation
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA
• Monitor client participation in activities and requirements
• Document concerns in shift log and EHR
• Follow medication policies and coordinate with nursing staff
• Complete daily progress notes and group logs
• Facilitate groups as requested
• Screen and monitor detoxification clients
