Job summary

AdamsPlace in Maryland Heights is seeking CNAs for a 20-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital serving adults and geriatric patients. This night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM offers an opportunity to make a difference in mental health care.

You will support RNs, interact with patients, lead activities, maintain a safe environment, and participate in therapeutic groups. Requires CNA certification and BLS; high school diploma accepted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active CNA certification (REQUIRED).
• BLS certification (required).
• 1+ year experience in behavioral health (preferred).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support RNs and providers in delivering high-quality psychiatric care.
• Provide direct patient interaction and engagement.
• Assist with individual and group activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Monitor and report on patient mental and physical health.
