Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric disorders and/or dual diagnosis and various treatment modalities of the population served preferred.

• Maintains a safe, structured environment with constant supervision of clients.
• Conducts safety checks and adheres to supervision guidelines.
• Checks clients for contraband and manages belongings.
• Interacts with clients, observes behaviors, and reports observations to supervisor.
• Encourages attendance at group therapy and client participation in activities.
• Engages clients in activities to support treatment goals.
• Records vital signs and communicates changes to the charge nurse.
• Charts client records timely and accurately.
• Applies de-escalation techniques to manage emotions and participation.
• Assists with admission/discharge processes and incident reports.
• Provides transfer or transportation for clients as required.
• Handoffs between shifts with accurate information.
• Introduces new clients to staff and explains programs and activities.
