Horizon Village Campus in Sanborn, NY is seeking a Behavioral Health Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will perform hourly rounds, conduct room searches, administer screenings, and support patients’ recovery in a compassionate, team-based environment.

The role requires an Associate’s degree with 1 year of behavioral health or healthcare experience or a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience, plus a NYS driver’s license and driving experience.

Formación

• Associate’s degree and 1 year of behavioral health or healthcare work experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of behavioral health or healthcare work experience required.
• A clean, valid NYS driver’s license, and three years of driving experience as a licensed driver.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hourly building rounds to ensure patient safety.
• Complete room searches throughout the facility.
• Administer toxicology screenings.
• Supervise wellness and family group activities.
• Guide patients through the challenges of recovery.
• Transport patients to medical appointments or other facilities and back as needed (about 10% of duties).

Educación

Associate’s degree + 1 year behavioral health/healthcare work experience

High School Diploma or equivalent + 2 years behavioral health/healthcare work experience
