Job summary

Peak View Behavioral Health in Colorado Springs is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate I to work under a licensed nurse on the multidisciplinary treatment team. You will monitor patient behaviors, provide continuous care, assist with daily living activities, and respond to crises and emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities include recording vitals, de-escalation, participating in educational groups, and reporting significant changes to the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required; first aid may be required by state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, structured environment under supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic care.
• Conduct safety checks and supervise patients as required.
• Record vital signs and report changes to clinical team.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and assist with crises if needed.
• Participate in patient education and rehabilitation groups.
