Job summary

Mohave Mental Health Clinics, Inc. seeks a Managing Clinician to coordinate care across teams and supervise no personnel, while ensuring engagement and service delivery in behavioral health for children and adults.

You will collaborate with clients, families, and community resources, while maintaining accurate records and participating in quality improvement activities to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Associate’s degree in a behavioral health field.
• Valid AZ driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Arizona fingerprint clearance.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with the person’s team and other systems where clinical knowledge of the care is important.
• Engage with the client, family and other involved parties to build trust and engagement in behavioral health services.
• Provide medically necessary behavioral health services to clients and families.
• Maintain and monitor safety/crisis plans as evidenced in records.
• Develop and monitor Behavioral Health Service Plans (BHSP’s).
• Assist clients/families in finding resources beyond covered services to meet basic needs.
• Communicate care with family members, behavioral and medical providers, and community resources.
• Maintain client records in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Participate in Performance Improvement processes and demonstrate cooperative behavior.
