Title: Behavioral Health Specialist

Worksite: Warren Service Center

Hours Status: Full-Time

Pay Range: $15.87 Hourly

Brief Job Description:

Provide support services to seriously mentally ill adults allowing them to live with maximum independence in the community. Spend extended periods of time with clients participating in therapeutic and mentoring activities designed to enhance their functioning and development for clients with more intensive needs than the typical outpatient timeframes allow. Position involves psychiatric rehabilitation principles under the direction of a licensed mental health professional.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or Human Services
• Six months experience working in a clinical or mental health setting (may include internship hours).
• Genuine interest and experience in working with individuals with psychological disorders.
• Valid Driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation.
• Flexible work schedule (to include evenings and weekends).
• Successful completion of the State approved Community Support Associate training within 6 months of hire.
