Job summary

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Leesville is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to support the Social Services Department within our 22-bed behavioral health unit. You will provide, implement, and supervise social service interventions and collaborate with medical staff and the DON to coordinate patient care.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), current licensure, and at least 1 year of behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited school of social work
• Current licensure through the appropriate State Regulatory Board for Social Workers
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Behavioral Health setting as a Social Worker
• CPR certification and Behavioral Management Training certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide, implement, and supervise social service interventions for patients
• Collaborate with clinical departments and DON for coordinated patient care
• Lead treatment team meetings and family communication
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality management activities
