Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking a Social Worker-Counselor-Lic Indep to provide behavioral health and care management services within the hospital setting, including assessments and psychotherapy for individuals and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, current Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC, and BLS; EMR experience preferred. A $7,500 new hire sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
• Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC license required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and provide treatment including individual and family psychotherapy using brief modalities.
• Serve as a consultant and resource to hospital staff in behavioral health and complex care management.
• Coordinate with chronic care management and longitudinal community support services.
