Job summary

County of Riverside, Banning Behavioral Health Clinic in Banning, CA seeks a Behavioral Health Services Supervisor to oversee a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and support staff. The role provides clinical supervision, yearly evaluations, and performance development while coordinating with local agencies to address needs in Riverside County.

The position operates on a 9/80 schedule from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and requires driving.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CA license as LCSW/LMFT/LPCC issued by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Two years of post-license professional experience in a behavioral health setting with direct client services.
• Supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate multidisciplinary staff delivering behavioral health treatment, social and rehabilitation services, and education to consumers and the community.
• Evaluate unit activities and propose changes to meet program goals and improve procedures.
• Evaluate personnel performance and participate in hiring decisions.
• Guide subordinates on department goals, policies, and staff development.
• Make or review decisions on difficult consumer assessment and casework matters.
• Collaborate with public/private partners to meet program goals and participate in community needs assessments.
• Assist in budgeting and monitor expenditures, prepare workload statistics reports.
