Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Safety & Behavioral Health Specialist to develop and monitor safety protocols within behavioral health settings.

You will collaborate with clinical teams and security to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and conduct risk assessments, incident reporting, and crisis intervention training. Evening shift at 81 Highland Avenue with 24 hours weekly is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• First Aid Certification required from various issuers.
• 2-3 years' experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Knowledge of safety practices and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update safety policies for behavioral health settings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices for safety.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and mitigate hazards.
• Monitor incidents and trends; recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training including crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Respond to behavioral health incidents and emergencies; support staff and patients.
