Job summary

Grandview Medical Center seeks a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for full-time weekend night shifts. The RN will provide patient-centered care, administer medications, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure safe, effective treatment and recovery for patients and families.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, documentation, and adherence to infection control and safety standards in a behavioral health setting. Requires active RN license and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings for the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Documents care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
