Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• 1 year of education/teaching and facilitation of learning required.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of facility-wide nursing services during evening, night, weekend shifts, holidays, and other assigned shifts.
• Review shift reports from preceding shifts to stay informed on activity and issues; participate in rounds coverage as needed.
• Monitor high-risk and complex cases and initiate appropriate actions in real time.
• Reassign and allocate nursing resources to meet building needs.
• Contribute to performance appraisals and competency assessments of nursing staff.
• Facilitate effective communication with the Program Director, Nurse Manager, Clinical Administrators, Clinical Educator/Supervisors, Staffing Resources and other stakeholders.
• Participate in development of nursing policies, procedures, standards of practice, and in planning and evaluation of nursing operations.
