Job summary

State of Louisiana is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor A to lead nursing operations at the Behavioral Health Crisis Center in Thibodaux. The role oversees clinical operations, staffing, and adherence to nursing protocols in a 24/7 BHCC setting.

Qualifications include an active Louisiana RN license or NLC/eNLC, and a mix of experience and education (RN with 3 years; or higher degree with required RN experience). Salary is determined by education and experience.

Qualifications

Current Louisiana RN license or temporary permit or multi-state (NLC/eNLC) license.
Three years of experience as a licensed RN.
Bachelor's in nursing with two years RN experience; or Master's in nursing/public health with two years RN experience; or Doctorate with one year RN experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision to assigned registered nursing staff and manage work assignments.
Develop, maintain, and monitor staffing plans for 24/7 BHCC operations.
Provide and oversee comprehensive nursing assessment and triage for behavioral health cases.
Obtain and evaluate vital signs, health history, and medication information within RN scope.
Monitor nursing documentation and service delivery for quality and compliance.
Ensure adherence to BHCC nursing protocols, infection-control practices, and emergency procedures.
