Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Must have current Registered Nurse license with the state of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in BLS upon hire and maintain clinical competency during employment.
• Must be trained in CPI and de-escalation techniques and receive certification within 3 months of hiring into the role.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinates patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicates regularly on patient condition and responds quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintains a safe, structured, therapeutic milieu with age-appropriate care across the patient population.
