Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• CPI training and de-escalation techniques required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate regularly on the patient’s clinical condition and respond quickly to changes.
• Create and maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic milieu with age-appropriate behavioral management.
• Promote the profession of nursing and provide collegial support to colleagues.
