Job summary

Tenet North Cal seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager, Behavioral Health to lead the Behavioral Health unit in Modesto, California. The role reports to the Director of Patient Care Services and coordinates nursing staff, patient care, and shifts during the night hours.

Requires at least 3+ years of inpatient psychiatric RN experience with prior supervision; CA RN license and BLS are required. This position emphasizes leadership, staffing, patient safety, and crisis management on a nightly basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 3+ years inpatient psychiatric experience or equivalent.
• Previous supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services of staff to patients during the designated shift.
• Assess staff needs for the unit; collaborate with staffing coordinator and Nurse Director.
• Ensure patient care is appropriate to age and developmental level; respond to crises and calls.
