Job summary

HCA Florida Largo West Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Behavioral Health PRN to join our compassionate care team. The RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

In this role you will assess patient condition, perform procedures and respond to requests, while contributing to holistic treatment plans and excellent clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN with an Associate Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and strive to anticipate needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver a holistic treatment plan.
• Interface between healthcare providers and community support for ongoing care.
