Job summary

Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN schedule to provide direct patient care in a behavioral health setting. You will collaborate with the interprofessional team to support a safe, therapeutic environment and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a valid RN license and BCLS certification, with on-call duties and commitment to ongoing education and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BCLS required.
• Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support.
• Assesses learning needs and delivers age- and culture-appropriate education.
• Advocates for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and may be assigned on-call.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
