Job summary

Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for a day shift in an outpatient setting. The role involves prescribing, coordinating, and delegating nursing care within the multidisciplinary treatment plan and supporting professional practice on the unit.

The RN is accountable for nursing activities on a shift, upholding ANA standards, and promoting client safety, teaching coping strategies, and collaboration with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• One year psychiatric experience preferred.
• Licensed RN in Tennessee or Compact.
• Knowledge of teaching strategies for patient education and therapeutic relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit in alignment with ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care.
• Create a safe environment for clients, supervise clients, empower clients, and teach coping tools.
