Job summary

Carrollton Springs Behavioral Health Hospital is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for outpatient behavioral health services on a PRN days basis. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, implement care plans, and document medical necessity, while supervising the shift and guiding a care team.

The role requires an Associate's degree in nursing, an active RN license, and CPR/De-escalation certifications within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Current RN license with state regulations.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment.
• 1-year experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Document medical necessity in the medical record.
• Oversee shift and supervise staff to ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor patient condition and notify physician as needed.
• Administer medications per hospital policy.
• Deliver empathetic, respectful patient care.
• Develop and revise interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
