Job summary

Indiana Regional Medical Center, Mountains Behavioral Health in Indiana, PA seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate direct patient care in a behavioral health setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and document care per established standards while leading therapeutic activities and educating patients and families.

The role requires an RN license with PA eligibility and up-to-date BLS. You may float across units (geropsych, adult, adolescent) to support a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year med-surg experience and/or 1 year geriatric experience
• 1 year of behavioral health experience
• Possess current RN license in Pennsylvania or pass boards within 6 months of hire
• BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, reassessing, and recording patient care per interdisciplinary treatment plan.
• Leading or co-leading therapeutic groups/activities and providing patient/family teaching.
• Collaborating with physicians and other disciplines on discharge planning and treatment plans.
• Provide leadership to ensure professional nursing standards are maintained.
• Float to units including geropsych, adult, and adolescent as assigned.
