Job summary
The Recovery Village South Atlanta (RVSA) is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support detox and inpatient care in a 55-bed facility located about 25 miles south of downtown Atlanta. You will educate patients and families about medical and psychiatric conditions while partnering with our leadership team to ensure quality outcomes.
The role emphasizes accurate documentation, medication administration, and adherence to medical protocols in a behavioral health setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Licensed to practice in Georgia.
- Must pass a Level 2 Background Check
Responsibilities
- Complete documents within required timeframe after admission.
- Administer medications and monitor detoxification.
- Transcribe physician orders and implement all Medical Protocols as ordered.
- Collaborate with medical personnel and external resources.
- Document services per licensure standards.
- Assess medical and psychiatric needs and expedite treatment when required.
- Educate patients about medications and health issues.
- Take verbal orders from the medical provider and record accurately.
- Provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the DON.
