Job summary

The Recovery Village South Atlanta is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support addiction and mental health care across a 55-bed facility. You will care for patients, document medical and psychiatric conditions, and collaborate with the nursing leadership to ensure quality care.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, GA licensure, and the ability to pass a Level 2 background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Complete documents within required timeframe after admission. Maintain medical records.
• Administer medications and monitor detoxification process.
• Transcribe physician orders and implement medical protocols.
• Collaborate with medical personnel and external resources.
• Document services for each patient in accordance with licensure standards.
• Assess medical and psychiatric needs and determine urgency of treatment.
• Communicate health concerns to appropriate staff and follow up.
• Educate patients about medications and health issues.
• Provide routine nursing care under the Director of Nursing.
