Job summary

Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health team for full-time night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The RN provides direct patient care, assesses patients, and supports safety and crisis management within the treatment milieu.

Responsibilities include documenting nursing care plans, training staff and families, and collaborating with the treatment team to ensure therapeutic outcomes. UHS affiliation underscores commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
• Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred.
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
• CPR certification (training provided).
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by physician and treatment team.
• Assess and manage patient care and environmental safety; implement behavior management programs.
• Direct assignments to subordinates and monitor duties; ensure accurate nursing care plan updates.
• Train and educate staff, patients and families; document care accurately in the master treatment plan.
