Job summary

Mercy Behavioral Health Services seeks a Behavioral Health RN to provide structured nursing care during night shifts at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO. You will work 36 hours per week, ensuring safe, compassionate care for psychiatric patients and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires RN licensure in Missouri (or compact), BLS certification, and a commitment to Mercy Service Standards and patient rights.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
