Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Glendale Heights, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for night shift. You will supervise nursing staff and assist physicians with bedside procedures, delivering safe, therapeutic patient care and documenting care plans.

Starting pay is $37.50/hour with a 36-hour week and rotating weekends/holidays. Eligible clinicians may advance through the Clinical Ladder Program; salary adjustments follow advancement criteria and program eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must use high level abstract reasoning to assess patients and adjust care plans.
• Basic computer skills; navigate Windows-based programs.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Education: Associate's of Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to unit and hospital code situations following protocols.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed nursing staff to deliver safe care.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prescribed therapies.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with patients and families.
