Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles, part of Prime Healthcare Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.

Qualifications

Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse
BLS certificate upon hire and maintain
Knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards
Knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process and daily nursing functions for behavioral health units
Understanding of continuum of care for behavioral health care

Responsibilities

Treating patients, educating patients about medical conditions, and providing emotional support to patients and families
Record patients’ medical histories and symptoms and assist with diagnostic tests
Administer treatment and medications and assist with patient follow-up and rehabilitation
Educate patients and families on illness management, diet, exercise, and self-administration of medication and therapy
