Job summary

Generations Healthcare Gramercy Court in Sacramento, CA is seeking an RN for our Behavioral Health Unit. The role focuses on direct nursing care for residents and supervision of day-to-day activities of Mental Health Specialists, in compliance with all standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a Nursing degree, an active RN license in California, and at least 1 year of experience in psych or locked facilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license in California.
• Preferred, at least 1 year of experience in psych and/or locked facility or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Supervise and assist day-to-day nursing activities performed by Mental Health Specialists.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
