Universal Health Services in Amarillo, TX seeks an experienced RN to provide safe, high-quality nursing care per facility policy and philosophy. You will lead and support the care team, focusing on patient-centered care and service excellence.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, maintaining a safe environment, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with standards. On-call responsibilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Texas nursing license or permit.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire.

• Provides safe, competent nursing care following facility policies and standards.
• Offers professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Uses patient-centered care as the foundation for all nursing care.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates age-appropriate care plans using the nursing process.

• Provides a safe environment for patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Assesses risks to patient safety and implements precautions.
• Complies with standards outlined by the organization and accrediting bodies.
• Adheres to safety and injury-prevention standards.
