Rainier Springs in Vancouver, WA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in behavioral health to provide comprehensive psychiatric and nursing care for patients on a 20-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN or Compact RN license.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Prior psychiatric health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care within set timeframes and document findings.
• Oversee and supervise the shift.
• Lead groups and direct patient activities as needed.
• Ensure adherence to nursing policies and high-quality care.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and alert physicians when needed.
• Administer medications per hospital policy.
• Demonstrate empathy, dignity, and respect with patients.
