Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
• Certification: Currently licensed or registered to practice as required by law, CPR.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical patient care per shift and coordinates patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Assesses, plans, and implements direct nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervises staff to which care is delegated and supports unit operations.
• Follows hospital safety, infection control, and quality-improvement standards.
• Performs hospital incident command system duties as needed.
