Job summary

SSM Health in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care for behavioral health patients in a hospital setting. This role is part of the MO-SSM Health Mission Hill unit, with a Regular worker type and a Day Shift, 36 hours per week.

You will complete admitting and shift assessments, participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning, document care, educate patients and families, and supervise LPNs and techs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or licensing equivalency.
• 1 year RN experience (Ministry Float) or 2 years RN experience (Regional Float).
• BLS HCP certification and RN license in MO, IL, OK or WI; or RN license by compact state.

Responsibilities

• Completes admitting and shift assessments on assigned patients.
• Utilizes critical thinking to analyze assessment data and notify physician of changes.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and reviews.
• Documents all nursing care and adheres to policies.
• Implements physicians orders and monitors patient safety.
• Educates patients and families and documents Education in EHR.
