Job summary

Signet Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, Texas. The role focuses on direct patient care, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and basic assessments under Nursing Managers.

Collaboration with psychiatrists and staff supports treatment planning for mental health and substance use disorders. The RN will assist with daily living activities, patient education, and documentation in the EMR to ensure safety and therapeutic care

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience.
• Strong teamwork, observation skills, and patient safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient behavior, progress, and treatment responses.
• Administer prescribed medications, including psychotropic meds, and record reactions in EMR.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient hygiene.
• Record vital signs and perform focused patient assessments.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and staff to implement treatment plans.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions or recreational activities.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
