Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the 34102 Aurora Psychiatric Hospital Nursing Float Pool in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The role supports multiple units with 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 0700–1530, and begins with comprehensive orientation to our care standards.

You will provide and coordinate nursing care, use evidence-based practice, and help create the safest patient environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Telemetry and ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Apply evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to ensure the safest patient environment.
• Support the continuum of care across units with teamwork and adherence to standards and procedures.
