Job summary

Incredible Health Hospitals in Providence, RI seek an experienced Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health. Use evidence-based approaches to assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Carry out medication administration and monitor responses, while supporting patients and families emotionally. The role includes facilitating group therapy, educating patients, and collaborating with the care team to ensure smooth discharge planning and aftercare.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited program.
Active and unencumbered RN license.
1+ years in behavioral health (inpatient or outpatient).
Strong understanding of psychotropic meds and side effects.
Maintain patient confidentiality per ANA ethics.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial patient assessments and develop care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
Administer medications and monitor efficacy/side effects.
Provide emotional and psychological support using therapeutic communication.
Facilitate group therapy and educational workshops on mental health.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic patient care and discharge planning.
