Crossroads Community Services Board in Lunenburg, Virginia is seeking a compassionate, full-time Registered Nurse to deliver nursing and behavioral health services to individuals in our community. The position is slated to begin December 1, 2026, with an anticipated start date and a regular schedule.

The RN will perform clinical assessments, monitor medications, develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, coordinate care with providers, and document in electronic and paper records.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia required.
• Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing preferred.
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule based on agency and program needs.
• Must be willing to float to other clinic locations when coverage is needed.

Responsabilités

• Triage patient calls involving medication side effects, symptom changes, and crisis concerns.
• Provide clinical support and nursing recommendations to medical providers.
• Educate individuals regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and symptom management.
• Monitor and document individual responses to treatment and medications.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered by authorized medical providers and in accordance with agency policies.
• Obtain vital signs and basic clinical information.
• Assist with patient intake procedures, including AIMS assessments and screenings.
• Coordinate and assist with ordered laboratory work and other medical procedures.
