Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem shifts in New Jersey. Responsibilities include patient care, education, medication administration, and crisis intervention. Per diem status and day shifts apply, with a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional responsibilities.

Candidates must hold an active State RN license and a current BLS certification. Knowledge of behavioral health care and interdisciplinary teams is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Must have current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
• Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care.

Aufgaben

• Treat patients and educate them about mental and medical conditions, provide emotional support, run therapeutic groups and psychiatric crisis intervention.
• Record patients' histories and symptoms, assist with diagnostic tests, operate medical equipment, administer treatments and medications, and assist with follow-up and rehabilitation.
• Teach patients and families how to manage illness or injury, diet and exercise programs, and self-administration of medications and physical therapy.
• Perform other related duties as required.
