Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking Registered Nurses to join its award‑winning team.

As a member of Prime Healthcare, the RN will treat patients, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary health team. Requirements include a current State RN license and BLS; knowledge of mental health laws; and experience in behavioral health care.

Qualifications

Must have current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS certificate upon hire.
Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care.

Responsibilities

Treat patients, educate about mental and medical conditions, and provide support to patients and families.
Record patient medical histories, assist with diagnostic tests and operate medical equipment.
Administer treatment and medications, and assist with follow-up and rehabilitation.
Educate patients and families on illness management, diet and exercise, and self-management of medications and physical therapy.
