Job summary

Novant Health's Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit in Wilmington, NC seeks a registered nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adults in crisis. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active RN licensure in the appropriate state
• One year of relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adults experiencing behavioral health crises
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress
• Utilize therapeutic communication and crisis intervention techniques
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
