Novant Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit in Wilmington, NC. The role entails compassionate, patient-centered care for adults in behavioral health crises, with collaboration across an interdisciplinary team.

Required is a 4-year/ BSN (preferred) or Associate degree, active RN licensure, and at least one year of relevant experience. The unit operates 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN licensure required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state; reinstatement process if lapsed within last five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adults experiencing behavioral health crises.

• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Utilize therapeutic communication and crisis intervention techniques.

What We\'re Looking For

Required:

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelor's degree, preferred, Associate degree
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• Experience: One-year relevant experience
