Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, is seeking a day shift, full-time Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. The RN will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a fast-paced behavioral health setting, following established policies and collaborating with physicians, therapists, and staff.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, an Idaho RN license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Idaho RN license.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Organize care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with Providers/Leaders.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Idaho RN license

BLS certification within 14 days of hire
