Job summary

Haven Behavioral Healthcare, part of Oceans Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Phoenix behavioral health unit. The role offers day and night shifts, and the chance to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and safety. ADN is required; BSN preferred. CPR certification to be maintained.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice or eligible for Compact RN license.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Inpatient hospital or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to medical and behavioral health needs.
• Safely administer medications and educate patients about treatment plans.
• Accurately document patient care, progress, and observations.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff during shifts.
• Respond to crisis situations and promote a safe environment.
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and quality outcomes.
