Nebraska Department of Correctional Services seeks a Registered Nurse specialized in behavioral health to support the Lincoln facility. You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to inmates with mental health and substance use concerns, including crisis intervention.

Starting wage at $50.00/hour with a $3/hour differential, full-time hours, comprehensive benefits, and PSLF eligibility. On-site work in Lincoln, NE with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Nebraska RN license or authority to practice as an RN via Nurse Licensure Compact.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to incarcerated individuals with behavioral health conditions.
• Perform assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and provide crisis intervention while maintaining safety.
